EarthBound Saga is a series of short movies produced by UbseyMovies, based on the 1995 video game EarthBound.
The series originally started in 1995, when Robbie and Jeff Benson decided a live action EarthBound movie sounded like fun. Equipped with their minimal knowledge about movies, and their dad wielding a VHS camera, they ambitiously started shooting what would soon become an abandoned project.
Less than five minutes into the movie, the production ostensively fell apart. It was picked back up 10 years later (2005) as a joke, as an Ed Wood inspired short. As the chapters progressed and the fan base grew, so did the production quality, with an Evil Dead inspired theme.
