Saga Saga.

I noticed in the last few years there’s been an uproar of EarthBound and Mother movies on Youtube; It’s nice to see so many people expressing their love for the game. One thing I thought was funny about it though, was how many of these series use the word “Saga.”

Ever since we released EB Saga one, I think it become embedded in to people’s minds that you’re required to use the word “Saga” in the title if you’re making an EB movie.

Right now my favorite Mother based movie on youtube, is “Mother Saga Part 2” by PsiPaula4. I want to see them complete the series, because they’re obviously having a lot of fun making it. I also looked into PsiPaula4′s other videos, and there’s some bizarre clips of her with (presumably) her friends, throwing things and hitting each other. The video lasts for six minutes, and as it progresses people start to take the joke of hurting each other a bit farther than originally intended. I like it ’cause it reminds me of my childhood, maybe it’ll do the same for you.

My pal Brushguy also has been doing his own EarthBound series on youtube. I believe his third episode is coming out in May/June, It takes place in the area of the story that EB Saga Four left off, so it’ll be fresh content for fans.He also makes chapters more consistently than I do, and he’s good at it; he also doesn’t include the now proverbial “saga” in his title.
