We just set the DVD’s video files to compress a few hours ago, it should finish sometime tomorrow. Continue reading ‘Compression’

Someone put EarthBound Saga on Wikipedia under the “Legacy” section, but didn’t create an independent page for it.
Where are all the EB Saga fans who are also die hard writers? There’s a lot of stuff that can be put on there, especially when the 5th chapter comes out.
Ever since the 3rd chapter, I’ve been dropping subtle hints and presenting questions about future episodes, I’m wondering if anyone has noticed. When they come to light, I’d imagine an EB Saga Wikipedia page would be the place for it.
Any thoughts?
We have a final cover chosen for the DVD.
(Thanks to Jonk for lending a tremendous helping hand.)

It’s heavily based on the overall feel of Apocalypse Now, especially the Marlon Brando poster and Martin Sheen’s appearance in the film.
Since EB4 was released in September 08, I’ve been talking to Reid Young (of Starmen.net and Fangamer chunk fame) about creating an EB Saga DVD with the current four chapters, along with special features and the other nuts and bolts. In all, it’s going to include commentary on all four episodes, deleted scenes/outtakes, making of chapters 1 – 3 (the same documentary as on the original 2007 promo EB Saga DVD), a 40+ minute documentary about chapter 4, and hopefully subtitles.
Hello friends, Jeff Benson here! In the case that you don’t know me by name alone, then I’ll give you a brief rundown on who I am. I’m part of UbseyMovies.com, the production team who creates those silly EarthBound Saga videos, a recreation of EB in live action. My brother Robbie Benson stars as Ness, and from what I’m told is an overwhelmingly funny character due to his variety of facial expressions.
If you haven’t had the chance to see the EB Saga, here are the links to the current four chapters:
You may be wondering why exactly I’m polluting the links from Starmen.net with a journal. The answer is simple, I’m working on EB Saga Five, which has proven to be a very intense project. So I thought creating a production journal through Fangamer may be of interest to the fans!
I’ll be posting production art, makeup tests, location photos, prop creation, story boards, my inner thoughts, eventually behind-the-scenes video from the set, and finally about editing the movie.
With all that being said, I’m sure everyone will bare in mind that this journal will most certainly contain MEGA SPOILERS! However, some information will be omitted.
I hope you all feel free to comment/ask questions, and most of all enjoy reading this as it goes on for months.
